“Every Clinic is Still on the Frontline” Attacks on Health Care in Afghanistan in 2017 was issued on March 16, 2018, and details attacks carried out by parties to the conflict, including the Taliban, the Islamic State, and Afghan military forces, in 22 provinces throughout Afghanistan in 2017. The report is an update to Watchlist’s report “Every Clinic Is Now on the Frontline” The Impact on Children of Attacks on Health Care in Afghanistan, which highlights how the targeting of medical facilities and personnel in Afghanistan in 2015 and 2016 had devastating consequences for children’s health. The update also provides targeted policy recommendations to key stakeholders, including the Government of Afghanistan, parties to the conflict, and United Nations agencies to strengthen children’s right to health care.
