April 2025 – In its ninth annual policy note, Watchlist makes recommendations to the UN Secretary-General regarding the list of perpetrators of grave violations against children in his forthcoming annual report on children and armed conflict.
Watchlist’s 28-page report, “A Credible List”: Recommendations for the Secretary-General’s 2025 Annual Report on Children and Armed Conflict, makes four recommendations for the listing of parties that have committed grave violations against children and 20 recommendations for further investigation to determine whether parties should be listed in the annexes of the 2025 report.
