(OSRSG-CAC) – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed conflict, Leila Zerrougui, will travel to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to assess the situation of children affected by armed conflict and the progress made in the implementation of the Action Plan signed by the Government to end the recruitment and use of children by the Congolese armed forces.
