(DCI-Palestine) – On her fifth pregnancy, Naela Abu Nasira was an experienced and collected expectant mother going about her life in Khan Younis, approximately 15 miles south of Gaza City. Her children, including two who had been born early by cesarean, were all healthy and above the age of five. Two months before her due date, Abu Nasira gave birth to a baby boy in Tahrir hospital, in Khan Younis. Her amniotic fluid had looked low and her white blood cell count was up by April 27, 2017, putting into motion an urgent cesarean section.
