Nikki Haley issues stern warning in South Sudan

(CNN) – US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley issued a stern warning to South Sudan’s president on Wednesday, telling him “the hate and the violence that we are seeing has to stop,” or the United States will reconsider its financial support for the country. “I let him know the US is at a crossroads,” Haley told reporters after her meeting with President Salva Kiir, “and every decision going forward was going to based on his actions.”
