Decree 1310 of 1990 (creating the Inter-Institutional Committee for the Defense, Protection, and Promotion of Human Rights of Children and Adolescents)

This decree was issued by the President of the Republic of Colombia on June 20, 1990. The decree creates the Inter-Institutional Committee for the Defense, Protection, and Promotion of Human Rights of Children and Adolescents. The decree addresses designing programs, activities, and policies; conducting research studies to establish a mechanism for effective implementation of regulations on the rights and freedoms of minors under eighteen (18) years of age; and encouraging the development of programs for the defense, protection, and promotion of childhood rights and youth.
