(UNICEF) – An estimated 1.2 million children are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance nearly three years after conflict erupted in the Central African Republic. As the nation prepares to welcome Pope Francis Sunday for a two-day visit aimed at promoting reconciliation, UNICEF is calling on all parties to the conflict to grant unrestricted access to organizations seeking to aid those affected by the crisis.
