(The Independent) – The White House has announced it will continue supplying military aid to governments known to use child soldiers, drawing criticism from international human rights organisations. A presidential memo, published on Tuesday, states it is in the “national interest of the United States” to supply military aid to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Nigeria, Somalia, and South Sudan.
