Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Administrative Order No. 356: Guidelines in the Implementation of the DOLE Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program

Pursuant to its mandate to prevent child labor, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) issued Administrative Order No. 356 series of 2023 “Guidelines in the Implementation of DOLE Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program.” Among other measures, these guidelines institutionalized an inter-agency quick action mechanism to respond to the worst forms of child labor, especially those cases that require the immediate removal of children from hazardous environments.
