This document (Department of Education Order No. 32 of 2019) outlines the overall strategy for ensure the safety of learners, personnel and school, the continuity of education in situations of armed conflict; and the contribution of schools and education in peacebuilding. This policy framework institutionalized conflict sensitivity, peacebuilding, and community engagement as a means to prevent, mitigate, respond to, and recover from situations/events of armed conflict.
