(UN News Centre) – Senior United Nations officials have condemned today’s attack at a mosque in Kabul that reportedly killed at least 32 civilians and injured more than 50 others, many of them children. “The Secretary-General [Ban Ki-moon] condemns today’s attack in Kabul targeting civilians gathered for worship,” said his spokesman in a statement, noting that attacks deliberately targeting civilians exercising their right to freely practice their religion are clear violations of fundamental human rights and international humanitarian law.
